It has been an exciting month and I am really starting to get excited about my hair. The next couple of months should be really exciting as I start to see the hair thickening. I can't believe how quickly my hair has growm, I am estatic! What has given me confidence in working for Alvi Armani is that I was offered a position with the company before I had any idication of what results I might acheive. I feel this alone shows the confidence that Dr. Armani has in his work.

After feedback from people on my page I decided to post a picture of me in 2003 before any hairloss treatment. It was hard to find a picture as I did tend to avoid the camera. As you will see I was caught of gaurd whilst sleeping with my hair far too short for my liking, scroll down and you will see this picture...

Patient Consultant for Alvi Armani

Upon approaching Alvi Armani for assistance with restoring my hairline I also expressed in an interest in working with them and assisting the expansion of Alvi Armani into the U.K. and Europe.

I am pleased to confirm that I have been successful and I am now a patient consultant with Alvi Armani team. There are exciting times ahead for Alvi Armani and our patients, this expansion of Alvi Armani into the U.K. and Europe will make our fantastic much more accessible.

I am currently in Toronto undergoing training, we are currently establishing offices in London and Manchester. If you are reading this and you are interested in more information or arranging a private consultation then do not hesitate to contact me, I will be more than happy to help. It feels great to drop my anonymity and as the industry grows the procedures we offer will be come more and more acceptable to society and perhaps more and more people will be doing the same. I do however totally understand the importance to most people of keeping any treatments or procedures you have had or are considering to yourself. I am happy to share that to this day, nobody other than my parents and my sister know of my procedure and I have been able to disguise it from others. I do plan to tell the rest of my family and my friends in the near future as my results start to complete. I would feel guilty keeping such a fantastic secret to myself when they could benefit too.

As I mentioned, we are currently finalising offices in Manchester. This is where I will be based and full contact details will be available shortly.

Sharing my story

Now I am begining to see some success with my FUE procedure I have decided to share my story with you.

I am now 26 and I remember noticing at the age of 20/21 that my hair had started to recede. It didn't really bother me too much and I thought I'd just have to grin and bare it. However when i was about 22 I remember seeing an American T.V. show where a man in his 50's was attempting to regain is youth. Part of the makeover was restoring his hairline. I couldn't beleive what I was seeing and I was to sceptical to beleive it.

As months passed I kept seeing the odd advert in a magazine and I started to look things up on the internet. To my astonishment I began to beleive that this would be possible and once I thought that, I couldn't stop there, I had to do something.

I spent hours reading through forums, reading news articles and peoples opinions of different doctors. I found a few clinics in the U.K. where I live as I didn't want to travel to far and whilst I was still researching I wanted to keep things to myself.

I went for a number of different clinics and asked all the questions I had been advised to asked and eventually decided to go ahead with a 1200 FUSS procedure in July 2005.

The staff were great and I was treated really well. I am very patient but as I started to approach 18 months I started to give up after disappointing results. It doesn't work afterall. Instead of hiding a receeding hairline I was now hiding my sparse and ill angled procedure.

I really didn't want to give up and I decided to start looking again but to broaden my options and look outside the U.K. and try and look for the best company I could find.

It didn't take long to come accross Alvi Armani, I looked at their website and my first thought was, no way! The results were fantastic, after looking through the vast amount of before and after shots filled me with confidence. I searched and found posts from Alvi Armani patients and contacting them I started to believe again. I was in the same position again, once convinced something can be done I couldn't just sit back, I had to do something.

I read Dr. Armai's book which was full of usefull information and had everything in there that had taken me around five years to find out half of. I attended a consultation in London and met Dr. Armani, I was introduced to two of his patients who I regonised from the Alvi Armani website.

After being convinced once again and having my faith in the industry restored following a dissapointing FUSS procedure with a different clinic. I went ahead with a FUE procedure with 2500 grafts to restore my hairline.

Dr Armani loves his work, his passion and satisfaction he gets from his work is evident. After some success showing at this early stage I wanted to share my story so far.
